The White House has released its much-anticipated National Cybersecurity Strategy Implementation Plan (NCSIP), which provides more details on how federal agencies will implement the ambitious, comprehensive initiative first broadly outlined in March.
The 57-page document details more than 65 federal initiatives clustered around the five pillars upon which the strategy is built, from protecting American jobs by combatting cybercrimes to building a skilled cyber workforce.
Under the plan, which the White House says is a living document that will be updated annually, each NCSIP initiative is assigned to a responsible agency and has a timeline for completion. Some initiatives, such as the Administration’s Cybersecurity Priorities for the Fiscal Year 2025 Budget, have already been completed ahead of schedule.
