In a surprise development, Twitter shook up the top ranks of its security team this week with the termination of the head of security, Peiter Zatko, better known in cybersecurity circles as Mudge, and the exit of the chief information security officer, Rinki Sethi.
Lea Kissner, Twitter’s head of privacy engineering, will become the company’s interim chief information security officer. These departures follow the elevation of Parag Agrawal to Twitter’s CEO post last November. (Kate Conger and Mike Isaac / New York Times)
