In addition to two security concerns raised about Chrome early last week, a third Chrome security problem was flagged by researcher Bojan Zdrnja who reported that hackers were using malware that abused the Chrome sync feature to bypass firewalls so the malware could connect to command and control servers.
Google said that developers wouldn’t be modifying the sync feature because physical local attacks are outside of Chrome’s threat model. (Dan Goodin / Ars Technica)
