After months of silence, the Biden administration announced yesterday several substantive, wide-ranging, and punitive initiatives to sanction and restrain Russia for its far-reaching SolarWinds hack and to assist organizations caught up in that unprecedented nation-state espionage breach. The administration is also seeking to expand the number of allies that could work with the U.S. to tamp down further Russian aggression in cyberspace.
