Taiwanese computer giant Acer Computer has been hit by a REvil ransomware attack where the threat actors are demanding the largest known ransom to date, $50,000,000, the gang announced on their website.

The attackers released some Acer files that seem legitimate. They also offered a 20% discount if Acer made the payment by this past Wednesday. (Lawrence Abrams / Bleeping Computer)
