Last night claims swirled on social media that the hard-right social media alternative to Twitter called Parler had been hacked. Images from a WordPress website were offered as “proof” of the hack. Although it’s unclear exactly what happened, most cybersecurity and privacy experts are skeptical that the hack has taken place.
