Satellite broadcast provider Dish Network went mysteriously offline last week and, as of 2/27, is still offline following what sources say is an apparent cyberattack.
The widespread outage affects Dish.com, the Dish Anywhere app, and several websites and networks owned by the corporation. Customers also suggest the company's call center phone numbers are unreachable. Moreover, customers are facing authentication issues when signing into TV channel apps such as MTV & Starz via their Dish credentials, and remote employees have been cut off from accessing their work systems while the Dish Anywhere Android app appears to be experiencing connection issues.
