Researchers at ESET say that at least ten hacking groups have exploited the vulnerabilities in the Microsoft Exchange servers initially exploited by Chinese state hacking group Hafnium, with many of the groups having documented ties to China.
Among the other intrusions tracked by ESET include a hack of a Middle East government email server by Beijing-linked APT27 and a breach of an East Asia-based IT provider by another suspected Chinese group, Bronze Butler. (Sean Lyngaas / Cyberscoop)
