Apple released security updates for iOS to patch three zero-day vulnerabilities that are being exploited in the wild. Google says the three iOS zero-days are related to the recent spate of three Chrome zero-days and a Windows zero-day that Google had previously disclosed over the past two weeks. Google has not, however, offered any details on the attacks or attackers. All three of the bugs - one a remote execution issue, one a privilege execution vulnerability, and one a memory leak in the iOS kernel - are believed to have been used together, part of an exploit chain, allowing attackers to compromise iPhone devices remotely.
