Information security specialists at Finland’s National Cyber Security Centre are working to stop a flood of text messages with links to malware called FluBot.

Researchers at Mandiant say that an under-the-radar ransomware group called Sabbath, a rebrand of the ransomware group Arcane that has been attacking schools, hospitals, and other critical infrastructure, has tried to cover its tracks by rebranding.
The researchers first spotted Sabbath in October, when it held the data of a Texas school district for school for ransom. Sabbath eventually launched its own victim site, which researchers found nearly identical to Arcane's formerly active group.
